Dear embies...

I'm sorry that I couldn't do anything to help you stick. I wanted so badly to see my belly grow with the two of you in it.

Thanks for your prayers friends. Ryan and I had a good cry about this failed in vitro cycle, but I feel like we're doing better with the heartache than I thought we would. God is still good, and we are still trusting that His plan is bigger than our own. <3

  3. Oh no, so sorry to hear that. I had hoped your absence was coming because of good news, not heartbreak, thinking of you and hoping you have the strength to keep trying!! Xoxo

  4. But it hasn't been a full 2 weeks!!! Maybe your body hasn't registered the fact that you might be pregnant?

    1. I wish that was the case! The 2 week wait is based on how old the embryos would be. So for a natural cycle, you would be correct, it was not 2 weeks from ovulation. However, I tested 10 days after transfer, and my embies were 4 days old when we transferred them = 14 days.

  5. Through all the high hopes and disappointments, I praise God that you are continuing to trust Him and His good plan for your family. Your story so far is full of faith in the midst of trial. Your faith may seem weak and small at times, but it is clear you trust in a strong and big God. Love you!
