  1. Shaileen and I were very close to doing embryo adoption. It will be so cool watching your journey. Keep us updated on how things are going...

Open adoption is the best. I didnt know it was an option to have an open adoption through embryo adoption. So cool.

    So excited for you guys!

  2. Hi there! Been following your blog and praying for you guys for awhile now. I have so much respect for you guys. Two questions for you if you don't mind: what are the success rates with each cycle with embryo adoption? And what is the cost compared to domestic infant adoption? Just curious.

    1. Great questions! The success rates with embryo adoption would be equal to any IVF/FET attempt. Just like any form of infertility treatment, there are no guarantees and success will vary from person to person and diagnosis. I wish there were set numbers that I could give you, but that simply doesn't exist. :(

As for cost, embryo adoption can be done a couple different ways, and therefore different pricing, but all forms would be half or less than half of the cost of a traditional infant adoption. It's actually a much more affordable option. However you also have to keep in mind that the adoption/legal fees are different from the medical fees. Insurance coverage, your doctor's fees, and number of transfers will dictate the final cost. If you're interested in receiving the information packet from our agency's program, you can request one by emailing info@nightlight.org. Hope that helps!
