Feelin Festive

So far so good folks! Emotionally, I feel much better than I did last week in anticipation of the transfer, so that's good. Physically, I've been a little achy and crampy. Typical post-transfer stuff, not really anything special to report at this point. Bedrest technically lasted through Wednesday, but I've still been taking it easy because I can. :) Ryan and I did our Christmas decorating last weekend, so I've had a festive room to sit in and I love it. Here are a few snapshots of our cozy house these days. :)

And since I'm in a Christmassy mood, I think I will leave you with Little Drummer Boy performed by Pentatonix. This acapella group does amazing things with their voices. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I heard it. :)

(P.S. if you want to hear more, check out their Royals cover)

  1. Hello!!! My name is Kelsey and i found this blog last night while i was googling embryo adoption! My husband and i watched a couple of your videos about you process and i just wanted you to know how much they touched me. My heart breaks for you guys and we will be praying for you as you wait for your results!! I have cried my way through a few of your posts now and i just feel like you have worded exactly how i have felt in so many ways. My husband and i found out a little over 4 years ago that the only way we would ever have a baby (without God stepping in) is through IVF and we have now been through 3 transfers. Our second was successful and we have our little Addison Lynne who is now 18 months. We would love to give her a sibling (and have always wanted a house full of children) but used our last 2 frozen embryos and though they thawed beautifully and our 'chances' seemed good, God had other plans.. Now we are looking at every other option and feel like everything is a dead end right now.. i wont go on and on but i just wanted to say hi and that i understand your pain. I look forward to following along and one day rejoicing with you as you meet Baby Miller!!
